D46
D46 is waterstruck, clinker-fired and has four equally usable sides and a rough, changing surface.It is made of red clay and has a varied play of colour in shades of red, orange and brown. The light-coloured areas are due to the addition of several types of slurry to the wet clay in the mould. The high firing temperature vitrifies parts of D46 bricks.
