D47
D47 is waterstruck, clinker-fired and has four equally usable sides and a rough, changing surface. It is made of red clay and has a varied play of colour in dark, golden, grey and greenish shades. The light-coloured areas are due to the addition of several types of clay slurry in the wooden mould. The high firing temperature vitrifies parts of the D47 bricks.
