D55
D55 is waterstruck and blue-tempered, i.e. it is fired in low-oxygen conditions. It has four equally usable sides and a rough, changing surface. D55 is made of red clay and has a varied play of colour in a range of cool, dark grey shades, sometimes closer to charcoal or almost black, with large patches of light grey and hints of green.
